OPUS SCIENTIFIC IS ON A ROLL

Melville, NY August 9, 2007 – Opus Scientific may be a relatively new company, but that hasn’t stopped them from earning recognition for their outstanding services to the workforce community. The Long Island Works Coalition has added Opus Scientific to their annual Workforce Builders Honor Roll.
 
“It is great to be able to positively impact the workforce here on Long Island, where I live and where I was raised,” says Ken Gelfand, Managing Director of Opus Scientific. “It’s good to know we are not alone in our efforts to develop career-related initiatives for students and skilled professionals.”
 
This year’s honorees for the Workforce Builders Honor Roll will be inducted at the annual celebratory luncheon on November 15th at the Huntington Hilton. There, the Long Island Workforce Coalition (LI Works) will highlight Opus Scientific along with other organizations committed to strengthening Long Island’s future workforce.
 
LI Works is a non-profit, regional initiative that fosters collaborations between schools and employers, preparing students with the knowledge, skills and practical experiences needed for career success.
